CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – Seventy pounds of suspected drugs were seized this week in a joint operation involving FBI Charlotte and the police department.
The agency said in a Tuesday, July 28, post that the narcotics were intercepted before reaching the streets — an effort the FBI said likely saved lives.
Authorities praised police K-9 Bishop, saying the dog’s work helped lead the operation and the eventual drug seizure.
