GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — Greensboro Parks and Recreation staff have big ideas for the future of the old Folk Teen Center at Pomona Park.
Parks and Recreation leaders have a master plan for the space they hope the city council will adopt. That plan is to update the building to create a sensory hub for recreation for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, particularly adults. The space will have classrooms for programming and a sensory gym with special equipment.
