MUSTANG, Okla. (KFOR) – A Mustang man says he’s gotten multiple notices from the Oklahoma Tax Commission about unpaid income taxes from 2019, but he says he wasn’t even living in the state at the time.
“I pay my taxes. I’ve done what I was supposed to do. I did it by the book,” Michael Doty said as he flipped through documents proving he lived in Colorado and paid taxes there in 2019.
Doty said he and his wife moved to Colorado in 2018, and they moved back to Oklahoma in 2020…
