The restaurant-attached-to-a-gun-store space that until a year ago was home to Chuck’s Hot Chicken is about to reopen as a carry-out barbecue place.
Brad Rogers, the owner of The Bullet Stop gun store and range at 2625 W. Pawnee, says that he’s chosen Aug. 8 as a soft-opening date for his Brad’s Chicken Bullets & BBQ, which is taking over the space.
Rogers said that if any food is left at the end of the day on Aug. 8, he’ll serve it on Sunday, Aug. 9. After that, he’ll assess how the soft-opening went and pick an official opening date…
