WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – We are waking up to scattered showers and storms across the state and while most areas will dry-out this morning, an isolated storm cannot be ruled out this afternoon. In between the storms it will be hot and humid as highs in the middle to upper 90s feel like 100-105 degrees.
Another batch of storms will move across the state this evening and tonight. Like the past two nights, the higher chances will be across western and central Kansas, and while a strong storm or two cannot be ruled out, widespread severe weather is not expected.
A cold front moving across Kansas will bring widespread storms to the state on Thursday night followed by cooler and less humid conditions Friday and this weekend. Expect comfortable nights in the 60s followed by normal heat in the upper 80s and lower 90s during the afternoon…
