Las Vegas airport tunnel construction to cause reduced lanes for several months

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A project to repave the Airport Connector Tunnel in Las Vegas will cause reduced lanes for several months.

According to a release from the Harry Reid International Airport, the Clark County Department of Aviation is set to begin a project to repave the tunnel in both north and southbound directions. The work will require temporary lane reduction throughout construction.

Preliminary work on the project will start in the northbound tunnel on Friday, July 31. It will require reducing lanes from 5 a.m. to 4 p.m. that day.
