Indianapolis streets are too wide, with too many lanes | Letters

Too many of our city’s so-called streets and roads are actually what Strong Towns calls stroads, a terrible and often deadly combination of cars in multiple lanes driving at high speeds with frequent stops at intersections. Stroads routinely lead to traffic jams and occasionally lead to accidents with fatalities.
