Former Richland County deputy arrested after camera system misuse

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WACH) — A sheriff’s deputy was arrested after an internal audit found he misused the agency’s Flock camera system, Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott announced Wednesday.

Russell Kenton II, 35, was arrested and charged on Wednesday with misconduct in office after investigators said he wrongfully used the system to research information unrelated to law enforcement purposes, according to the Richland County Sheriff’s Department.
