STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Those hoping for an early start to the fall might be stuck waiting just a bit longer, according to forecasters.
The latest three-month, long-range outlook by the National Weather Service’s Climate Prediction Center currently forecasts that the months of August, September and October are trending towards being warmer than the historic average.
