NORTH PALM BEACH, Fla (CBS12) — A unit at a North Palm Beach condominium caught fire Wednesday afternoon, according to the North Palm Beach Fire Rescue.
Around 2:00 p.m., firefighters were called to the three-story Lake Colony condominiums at Dooley Court to treat a reported structure fire. Heavy black smoke emitted from a first-floor unit, which surged from the residence once firefighters opened the front door.
According to the NPB Fire Rescue, the smoke remained largely contained to the unit and was quickly extinguished when crews entered the residence. They believe the fire originated from the unit’s utility room…
