WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – A Wilmington nonprofit leader has been tapped to help guide one of North Carolina’s largest rural health efforts.
Ryan Estes, chief operating officer of Coastal Horizons Center, has been appointed to the North Carolina Rural Health Transformation Program Advisory Committee. Coastal Horizons provides substance use treatment, mental health counseling and community wellness services in the Wilmington area.
The advisory committee, chaired by NCDHHS Secretary Dev Sangvai, includes more than 40 members representing community organizations, health care providers and elected officials. The group will help shape how the Rural Health Transformation Program is designed and carried out across the state…
