Lincoln man arrested after truck rolls into responding ambulance while unconscious

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) — An ambulance was hit head-on after police responded to an unconscious man in a truck stopped in north Lincoln.

Shortly before 2 a.m. Wednesday, officers found 21-year-old Jayce Brown unconscious in a pickup truck stopped on Highway 77 at the northbound exit to west O Street.

According to police, officers attempted to wake him up before calling for an ambulance. While trying to wake up, Brown took his foot off the brakes and hit the responding ambulance head on, causing $5,000 in damage…
