Shreveport police union sues city over forced overtime

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – The Shreveport Police Officer’s Association filed a lawsuit Tuesday against the city, the chief of police, and department leadership over forced overtime.

The union alleges the Shreveport Police Department violated Louisiana statute by requiring officers to work overtime under threat of punishment and disciplinary action.
