Titans Tavern in Tea is closing Saturday after two years in business.
The owners of the restaurant and bar in the building that years ago was the well-known Tea Steak House announced the closing Tuesday in a social media post after asking the community last week to help keep the doors open.
“Unfortunately, this summer has been incredibly difficult,” they wrote on Thursday. “Between several new restaurants opening in Tea and the normal summer slowdown, our sales have dropped dramatically. We’re doing everything we can to keep our dream alive, but the reality is that we need our community now more than ever.”
