Baltimore’s Reisterstown Road Plaza is getting a fresh batch of fast-casual firepower, with four national restaurant chains planned for a new building now rising beside Applebee’s. Chipotle, Five Guys, Quickway Japanese Hibachi and Jersey Mike’s are expected to open after construction wraps up later in 2026.
The restaurant lineup was announced Wednesday as part of the shopping center’s ongoing makeover. WMAR 2 News Baltimore reported that Tide Realty Capital is behind the multi-tenant project, which broke ground along Reisterstown Road.
A New Food Strip Next To Applebee’s
The project will add nearly 8,200 square feet of restaurant space, according to I95 Business. Chipotle is slated for a 2,519-square-foot space with a Chipotlane pickup lane, while Five Guys will occupy about 2,400 square feet; Jersey Mike’s and Quickway are each planned for roughly 1,500 square feet.
Construction is expected to be completed by the end of 2026, with the restaurants opening shortly afterward. No specific grand-opening dates, menus or hiring details have been announced yet, so Baltimore diners will have to wait a bit longer before making the four-stop comparison tour a real thing.
