East Cleveland government officials are refusing to release staffing level numbers in its police department, following online comments by a former city employee alleging that the department is down to four active patrol officers and a single detective.
Mayor Sandra Morgan and Law Director Ken Myers both denied the accuracy of that post, but have refused to provide a staffing number.
