ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — Hundreds of employees of a Marietta based healthcare system are now without a job after Wellstar Health System announced lay offs on Tuesday.
On Wednesday, employees who still have their jobs told Atlanta News First they are worried about what happens next.
“It just breaks my heart I wish it doesn’t have to happen,” said a registered nurse who works at Wellstar Kennestone in Marietta. “The morale is down people don’t really like it because people know people that got laid off.”…
