While the worst has passed and the threat for flooding has ended, we’re still in the grips of this storm system. That spells additional rain through the day.
Where we’ve seen over 5” in parts of Worcester County, this is unwelcome news. Elsewhere, this is more of a nuisance as it keeps the temps locked in the upper 60s with cool winds blowing in from the east/northeast.
Additional rainfall is meager through the day. Some spots may get a half inch at most, while most of us see minor, intermittent showers. We’re likely to see general drying later this afternoon, with a chance at seeing a few rays of sun before it sets.
Tomorrow is a brighter, warmer day. There’s still a chance for a pop-up shower in the afternoon, but highs recover to the upper 70s to near 80.
