MADISON COUNTY, N.C. (WLOS) — The National Weather Service has confirmed that a tornado was present amid severe weather in western North Carolina on Tuesday, July 28.
On Thursday, July 30, the NWS issued a preliminary statement indicating an EF0 tornado in Madison County with estimated peak winds of 80 mph.
