Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department officer Seth Elliott used confidential police databases to let a drug dealer know about undercover police who were trying to buy drugs, court documents allege.
Elliott has worked for CMPD in the University City Division since February 2024. He was arrested Wednesday, charged with misdemeanor accessing computers, and released on an unsecured bond. He has been suspended on unpaid administrative leave.
