The 3rd annual 803 Day celebration kicks off this weekend, with regional festivities spanning across the Midlands in recognition of all things “So 803.” From Lexington to Blythewood and everywhere in-between, the Midlands will unite in a spirit of pride, unity and fun through events, food, music, art and giving back.
The celebration begins on Friday, July 31, at 5:30 p.m. with the Pre-803 Day Mixer, which serves as a kickoff networking event for sponsors, partners and community leaders in the Midlands region.
Gearing back up on Saturday, Aug. 1, folks can then take a stroll or a hasty pace through Forest Acres during the 803 Day 5K Run/Walk in support of Cola Rose Shower, a local 501(c)(3) that supports women in the Midlands and the health challenges they face.
