LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – A man has been arrested in connection with a shooting that took place last weekend in Lexington.
Jamar Williams, 31, is charged with two counts of attempted murder, one count of first-degree attempted murder and one count of possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
Lexington police say in a statement that Williams shot two people early in the morning on Sunday on the 200 block of South Limestone. Both victims were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
