ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC)- Three months after the Championship Boxing Extravaganza at Blue Cross Arena left promoters with more than 100k in debt, some fighters are still waiting for their pay.
The “Gloves up, Guns Down” boxing event, billed as a way to help fight violence in Rochester, ended in disappointment for everyone involved and is now in the hands of the Monroe County District Attorney’s Office, according to the New York State Athletic Commission.
