Westwood Financial has expanded its Dallas-Fort Worth retail portfolio with the acquisition of South Town Crossing II, a 23,300-square-foot shopping center in Burleson, according to a press release.
The Target-shadow-anchored property adjoins South Town Crossing I, which has been part of the firm’s portfolio since 2012. With the purchase, Westwood now owns 83,286 square feet within the South Town Crossing development, representing 82% of the shop space surrounding the Target anchor.
“South Town Crossing II is an important expansion of our portfolio that emphasizes our commitment to the Burleson market,” Chief Operating Officer Lauren Ball said in a statement. “Nearly 15 years ago, we recognized the potential of this community. Today, strong tenant demand, a growing customer base and the center’s proven performance continue to validate that conviction.”…
