The latest forecast model runs now show the responsible low-pressure system parking itself over or near Ohio all the way through Tuesday evening, essentially sitting and spinning in place rather than moving through as typical systems do. Because of this stalled track, rainfall totals could stack up to 3 to 5 inches in parts of the region by Tuesday evening, with most spots landing closer to 2 to 3 inches.

Timing bands show the rain progressing eastward through the day, hitting Toledo, Bowling Green, and Sandusky between 12 PM and 5 PM, before reaching Akron, Canton, and New Philadelphia between 5 PM and 9 PM.
