FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – A local restaurant and grieving group are helping families in need for the upcoming school year. The Redwood Inn and the ‘Mondays 4 Mamas’ group have a school supply and food pantry to provide the essentials for families in the Nebraska neighborhood.
“We wanted to come up with a gift in honor of our children, a gift that we could keep on giving,” said Melissa Earls, owner of Redwood Inn and founder of ‘Monday 4 Mamas.’
Earls is encouraging the community to donate to the pantry if they are able—any school supplies such as pens, paper, pencils, notepads or crayons. Non-perishable food items are needed as well…
