A now-vacant triangular corner lot in the Port of Tacoma area could become the site of a new truck and passenger vehicle fuel plaza with food and retail options.
A pre-application was filed with the City of Tacoma on July 27 that describes the proposed project at 3640 Taylor Way. The proposal calls for “development of a new travel center including 21 vehicle fueling positions (nine truck vehicle fueling positions and 12 passenger vehicle fueling positions) and an approximately 5,800 square foot convenience store that includes a fast-food restaurant with drive-thru.”
