HAMILTON, Ga. (WRBL) — Officials with the Hamilton Police Department are warning parents to be aware of colorful pills after arresting an individual found in possession of suspected drugs and multicolored narcotics on Friday.
The arrest occurred while officers were conducting a proactive traffic enforcement that led to the discovery of the illegal items.
Hamilton Police officials said they found the individual in possession of suspected cocaine, suspected MDMA (Ecstasy), and a quantity of suspected marijuana.
Authorities warned parents that MDMA (Ecstasy) tablets often come in bright, multicolored shapes and can resemble children’s vitamins or candy.
