Suspect in deadly 2023 hit-and-run now facing DUI charge

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — A man accused of a deadly hit-and-run in Providence in 2023 is facing a new drunk-driving charge, Target 12 has learned.

Court records show Donald O’Brien, 39, was arrested for driving under the influence of liquor (BAC unknown) in the early morning hours of July 4 in Providence.
