Fincastle – Lucky’s been through a lot — now he’s ready for a real home.
Lucky is a gentle, affectionate gray-and-white cat who’s waiting for a fresh start through the League for Animal Protection. He arrived at the shelter July 5, 2025, after a realtor found him inside an abandoned house while stopping by to take photos.
Shelter staff say Lucky is friendly and sweet, but a little shy at first — understandable after being left behind. Once he warms up, he’s a loving companion who seems happiest with people nearby and would love a home to call his own…
