Kansas hospital cutting positions to stabilize finances

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – Pratt Regional Medical Center is helping its finances by cutting workers.

In an update to the workforce reduction announced last week, 11 positions are being eliminated.

The impacted include the following:

  • Behavioral Health – 2 positions
  • Chaplain – 1 position
  • Guest Services – 1 position
  • Cardiac Rehabilitation – 2 positions
  • Marketplace Navigator – 1 position
  • House Supervisors – 4 positions

The hospital said affected employees were notified and provided information regarding available transition resources and benefits.
