OWASSO, Okla. — The City of Owasso held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for their new parks office today. With the opening of the new location, it gives the parks department a central hub they can use as their base of operations.
“This is allowing us to be more efficient,” says Larry Langford, Director of Recreation and Culture for the City of Owasso. “All of our staff now have a place to go into work instead of being spread out so we can really coordinate.”
Langford says with the new facility, they don’t have to go to individual parks to try and work out schedules at each separate location. It can now all be done at one central location…
