Last remaining Maple Street Biscuit Co. locations in central Ohio shut down

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – The last two remaining Maple Street Biscuit Co. locations in central Ohio have closed after the brand was purchased by a breakfast chain that recently broke into the Columbus market.

The Maple Street Biscuit Co. locations at 1310 Polaris Pkwy. in north Columbus and 7105 N. High St. in Worthington shuttered last week. The Polaris location had been operating since January 2023 and the Worthington location since July 2023.

The closures come after Biscuit Belly, which opened its first Ohio restaurant in northwest Columbus last month, announced on July 20 that it bought the Maple Street Biscuit Co. brand and 35 locations from Cracker Barrel.
