Areas of heavy rain will keep the flash flood threat elevated Saturday night into Sunday morning. Scattered showers and storms will remain possible Sunday and continue into the new workweek.
- Tonight: The threat of scattered showers and a few storms lingers into the overnight hours (60%). Low: 71°.
- Sunday: Some additional scattered showers/rumbles around (40%), otherwise, variably cloudy. High: 85°.
- Sunday night: Chance for showers mainly early (30%). Low: 70°.
- Monday: Scattered showers and storms remain possible (40%). High: 84°.
Flash flooding will be a concern Saturday night into Sunday morning with heavy rain potential on top of already saturated grounds. Always remember to “turn around don’t drown”.
As the cold front moves eastward tonight, the severe threat will decrease, but additional showers/rumbles look likely for many.
The opportunity for additional scattered showers/rumbles will linger into Sunday, but there will also be breaks at times (it won’t be continuous). It does look like the best opportunity for these showers/storms will be primarily east of the I-75 corridor. It will be mainly cloudy between the rain chances with highs in the low-to-middle 80s, and breezy at times.
