DAVIS, CA — A late-night fight among teenagers in Davis ended with one young man hospitalized with stab wounds and another in custody, police said. Officers were called to a parking lot on Olive Drive after reports of a large physical confrontation involving multiple teens.
Police said officers arrived within minutes, found the injured victim, and arranged for his transport to a local hospital before identifying the suspected attacker. The case remains under investigation, but authorities said there is no known threat to the public.
Arrest made after officers reach the scene
According to the Davis Police Department, the disturbance was reported at 9:21 p.m. Sunday in the In-N-Out Burger parking lot on Olive Drive. When officers got there, they located a stabbing victim and quickly moved to find the suspect.
The suspect was taken into custody without resistance, police said. Investigators have not released details about what led to the confrontation or how many people were involved beyond describing it as a fight among numerous teenage subjects.
