MADISON, Wis. — A semi-truck hauling alcoholic seltzer pellets from La Crosse to Kentucky was destroyed in an early Friday fire on I-90 early Friday morning, the Madison Fire Department said.
A motorist flagged down the driver shortly after 1:20 a.m. to report a problem at the rear of the trailer.
The driver stopped to investigate and found smoke and sparks coming from the passenger-side rear dual wheels. The fire spread too quickly to extinguish with a fire extinguisher, prompting the driver to call 911…
