A man who was forced out of his apartment after the Homewood complex was deemed unsafe is suing the property owners and managers for negligence, breach of contract.
Joshua Young is suing corporate owners and managers of The Park at Buckingham, the 542-unit complex that was ordered to be evacuated.
“Young faces imminent displacement, increased housing and moving expenses, loss of the benefit of his rental agreement, loss of the use and enjoyment of his home, inconvenience, anxiety, emotional distress, and the risk that he will have to stay with family or in his vehicle while searching for affordable housing.”
