Police in Hillsdale are asking residents to stay indoors after a black bear was spotted on the west side of town.
According to a notice posted on the Hillsdale Police Department’s Facebook page, the bear was last seen in the area of Ann Blanche Smith School on Hillsdale Avenue. The school is in a primarily residential area with wooded areas nearby.
