One person was killed in a shooting early Sunday morning in Reading, according to city police and the Berks County Coroner’s Office.
Emergency crews were dispatched to the 1400 block of North 5th Street at approximately 3:39 a.m. Sunday after Berks County 911 received a report of a shooting. Initial emergency dispatch information indicated a male had been shot after a vehicle drove by the area.
