Middle Tennessee is getting itself into a very large pickle this fall, as Murfreesboro’s Middle Tennessee Pickle Festival returns with food, shopping, live music and enough briny creativity to make an ordinary Saturday seem severely under-seasoned.
The one-day outdoor festival is scheduled for Saturday, September 5, at Hop Springs, running from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $5 and cash only, according to FOX 17.
The marketplace is expected to feature more than 150 vendors from six states, while 15-plus food trucks will handle the heavier lifting for hungry visitors. The event organizer, Center Hill Events, currently says vendor spaces are full, so the shopping side of the festival appears to be set before the gates open.
Pickle Pizza, Fried Pickles And A Cash-Only Gate
Food and drink offerings will include pickle pizza, fried pickles and pickle piña coladas, along with eating and drinking competitions for anyone willing to make lunch a competitive sport. Handmade art, jewelry, candles and boutique items will round out the vendor lineup…
