South Carolina is rebuilding its entire team and a big part of that is the starting pitching staff. Right-handed pitcher Brock Johnson, a transfer from Central Arizona Junior College that was going to play for Coastal Carolina before changing course, could be a big part of the starting pitching plan.
Johnson started for two years at Central Arizona and was a workhorse for the team, totaling 148 2/3 innings over 33 appearances with 28 starts.
