South Paw Rescue secures first permanent building in Surfside Beach

SURFSIDE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Community donations helped secure South Paw Rescue’s first permanent building in Surfside Beach.

Before a building was in place, volunteers operated the organization from their homes for nearly two years.

Now, the organization is converting the space into both an adoption center and a community hub, with directors saying they hope to have the doors open by September, the same month the rescue marks its second anniversary.
