Update, 8:55 a.m.: One man is dead and another has been arrested after hours of negotiations near the Bonney Lake/Buckley area, according to Carly Cappetto, spokesperson for the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies first received a call around 2:21 a.m., Cappetto wrote in a message to The News Tribune. When they arrived, they found a man lying in the front yard. Crews took the victim to a local hospital, but he died of his injuries.
