Archbishop Gustavo García-Siller is urging local Catholics to uphold their faith’s moral principles by supporting migrants and families living in fear of immigration enforcement.
“Today, many families live in fear, and some are afraid even to come to the sacraments, to listen to the word of God with a community of faith,” García-Siller said Monday at San Fernando Cathedral. “This pastoral letter seeks to console those who suffer, awaken the indifferent and confront injustice with the courage of the Gospel.”
