BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Flashing lights, failed sobriety tests, and arrests caught on camera make up a firsthand look at the drunken issue still running rampant on the streets of Kern County.
“I witnessed around six or seven DUI stops within the two-block radius,” said Jacob Davidson, owner of an independent media group, Dad’s Gone Live. “Literally on [21st Street] alone, there were three DUI stops and arrests, probably within a one-hour period.”

Thousands of social media users were shocked by one of Davidson’s posts showing a woman stumbling out of the driver’s seat before her late-night arrest.
“She couldn’t even do the (sobriety) walk,” Davidson said. “An officer had to assist her with walking to his car when she got arrested. So it shocks me to think that she was actually behind the wheel trying to drive a 2,000-pound, 3,000-pound vehicle with people on the road.”…
