WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Wilmington District has awarded a $4.3 million contract for maintenance dredging in the Morehead City Inner Harbor.
According to the agency, the contract was awarded July 30 to Curtin Maritime Corp. The project will remove shoaled sediment from navigation channels within Morehead City Harbor to help maintain safe and efficient vessel traffic.
