DA: Allentown man convicted of strangling his child’s mother, then telling her not to testify, headed to state prison

ALLENTOWN, Pa. – An Allentown man convicted of strangling the mother of his child and telling her not to testify during his trial has been sentenced to state prison.

Dallas Young, 31, was sentenced Tuesday to serve 10 to 20 years in state prison, according to a news release from District Attorney Gavin P. Holihan.

Holihan says Young was convicted by a jury on April 1 of felony charges of Strangulation – Applying Pressure to Thorat or Neck and lesser charges of Simple Assault, Harassment, Intimidation of Witness/Victim Elude/Evade/Ignore and Intimidation of Witness/Victim – Disobey Summons…
