Build-A-Salad on Chattanooga’s Northshore announces closure amid public’s lettuce fears

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — A restaurant on Chattanooga’s Northshore known for it’s customizable salads announced that it will be closing its doors due to the public’s concerns about an ongoing parasitic outbreak tied to produce.

“Due to the Lettuce epidemic we have decided to close our doors. We appreciate everyone that supported us and the ones that tried to support us during this. It’s tough being a salad restaurant when everyone is scared of lettuce so the decision was made for us. We did have some great times before this.
