Tallahassee postal worker indicted after allegedly pocketing cash from greeting card

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A Tallahassee postal worker has been indicted on mail theft charges after she allegedly pocketed cash from a greeting card.

NaPeaches Blair, 43, was indicted by a federal grand jury for two counts of theft of mail by a postal employee, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

According to arrest documents, Blair was suspected of using a gift card stolen from the mail. As part of an investigation, an undercover law enforcement officer handed her a sealed envelope containing a greeting card with $1,000 cash inside.

She allegedly later opened the envelope, took the money out of the card and put the envelope in the outgoing mail basket, according to arrest papers…
