Hundreds of curbside electric vehicle charging stations are coming to NYC

NEW YORK (PIX11) — New Yorkers who drive electric cars may have more places to charge their vehicles soon.

Plans are underway to add hundreds of curbside electric vehicle charging stations across the city, and the New York City Department of Transportation wants your input.

The city currently has 88 Level 2 charging points and hopes to add another 600 over the next three years, the DOT announced on Tuesday.
